Detail Overview :

This looks to be a super-low-price tablet, if the Indian prices are converted to other regions: it starts at just ₹13,999, which converts to $190 / £140 / AU$260. That’s for 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, which admittedly isn’t much space, and there are other options.

Design & Build :

The Pad’s design is a key aspect, at least if Realme’s marketing is any indication, and the thing measures just 6.9mm across. That makes it one of the slimmest tablets on the market, and it should be easily totable as a result.

There are two color versions of the slate, gray or gold, and the latter looks way better in our opinion.

Display Quality :

The Realme Pad has a 10.4-inch display. It’s LCD, so don’t expect as vibrant colors or eye-catching contrast as some other slates with OLED or AMOLED screens, but that’s probably part of why the price is so low.

The resolution is 1200 x 2000, or FHD+, which from a resolution perspective should be enough to handle any game or streaming service with aplomb.

Performance :

As previously mentioned, you can get the Realme Pad with either 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Both versions have a microSD card slot though, so you can bump up that storage.

The chipset is the Helio G80, which we’ve seen in quite a few cheap phones like the 4G model of the Samsung Galaxy A32, and it’s fine for a slate of this price but isn’t super powerful.

Camera Quality :

Both the front and back cameras on the tablet are 8MP, which should be fine for video calling or taking reference pictures, but you probably won’t get fantastic photography from either.

Battery Life & Connectivity :

The Realme Pad has a 7,100mAh battery, which sounds pretty average for its screen size, but that’s impressive when you consider that this is a thin tablet.

Charging isn’t too fast though, as while the 18W offered here is average for a tablet, Realme has been known to use way faster powering on its smartphones. A novel inclusion here, though, is reverse wireless charging, so you will be able to use the slate as a wireless charging pad to juice up other devices.

Verdict :

The Realme Pad is a decent first attempt at a tablet, in terms of the hardware it offers. With no accessories (and no keyboard or stylus support), this is a tablet intended solely for media consumption and simple communication apps, not for any serious productivity. Starting from Rs. 13,999 in India, the Realme Pad offers decent performance along with a quality display and very impressive sound for its segment. Everyday performance is not a problem, and the ultra-wide selfie camera works fine for video calls. With an LTE-enabled variant starting at Rs. 15,999, there’s little to complain about. This gives the Realme Pad enough appeal provided you don’t intend to do any work on it.

Detail Overview :

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablet was launched on 27th May 2021. The tablet comes with a 8.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1340×800 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22T (MT8768T) processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite runs Android 11 and is powered by a 5100mAh battery.

Design & Build :

To begin with, Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is a very well-built machine. You get all the ingredients including a beautiful display and metal back for a premium feel. Yes, the head and chin area on the front could be smaller, but overall, it looks smashing. The front also has the video/selfie camera on top along with the earpiece speaker grille. The right side has the volume rocker and power buttons along with the secondary microphone.

Display Quality :

Moving on, the display is one of the best features the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has. The 8.7-inch TFT display has HD+ resolution and 16M colour depth. You can play a lot of YouTube videos on the device along with Netflix shows and the experience was far superior to any other tablet in the price segment. The sound was loud and great thanks to the dual speakers. Outside visibility is good too. The brightness is nice, and the display does not get washed out under direct sunlight. All in all, the screen does justice to its price point.

Performance :

The company has tried to equip the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with the best it can in the budget segment. Under the hood, users get a MediaTek octa-core CPU with a clock speed of up to 2.3Ghz. There is 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Which by budget standards is just about okay, but we did feel it is 1 GB too less of a RAM if you ask us. This is why you may face jerks and lag in the system.

Camera Quality :

Coming to the cameras, they are just there for your simple work. The front 2MP camera is decent for video calls or if you are connecting with your study group. It will not give you the best selfies which your smartphone can provide. The rear 8MP camera is better. While the results outdoors were filled with vibrant colours and decent details, the images shot inside lacked the punch. Again, if you want to click good pictures, keep your smartphone handy.

Battery Life & Connectivity :

The battery life of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is another good feature of this tablet. You can get over 3 days of battery life out of it. You can watched 2 Netflix movies, couple of hours of YouTube and even make few phone calls with it. Not bad for a 5,100 mAh battery inside. All this with Wi-Fi on. However, after prolonged use, the tablet does get a little warm.

Verdict :

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is an affordable non-voice calling tablet to invest in. Users can carry on with their official meetings, online classes and other activities in a seamless manner. Backed by Fast Charging enabled great battery life loaded within, the device assures prolonged usage. Moreover, Samsung has loaded its own OneUI 3.1 interface, 3GB RAM and  MediaTek Helio P22T chipset within the tablet assuring lag-free multitasking. The presence of a fingerprint sensor would have made it stand out from the rest.

There are some complaints about Google Apps Support not working on this tablet, because of the recent war between Huawei and American Companies.

Verdict :

Huawei MediaPad T5 is good to go with the tablet from a well-known brand an ideal choice as a buy for study as well as recreational purposes.
The Children Corner setup inside will let you set restrictions on what they will be given access to, which is very important in this internet era where scams and dangers are omnipresent.
